  • Long Description: The George W. Bush Foundation and Southern Methodist University have been in exclusive negotiations since 2006 about locating the Bush presidential library on the school's campus, just north of downtown Dallas. SMU's trustees approved a resolution Feb. 22 directing school President R. Gerald Turner to enter into an agreement for the library to be located at the United Methodist-related university.
